I often recommend this book to those looking for guidance on what they should read from the field. This is a classic. This is must have. This is not something you will understand in your first pass. 

This is my 3rd copy of this great work. After the over-use of the previous two, I was gifted this Dover Edition of this classic. Given Hall's generous contributions to the field of esoteric literature, it felt appropriate to make this the first post on this Blog. 

I approach The Secret Teachings of All Ages not merely as a reader, but as one might approach a temple—stepping quietly, reverently, with the sense that something ancient stirs within its pages.
